《敦煌遺書·S.6836號卷》（約9世紀）：
「于闐僧侶以赤色瑪瑙刻六字真言，稱『血菩薩石』，謂其色為文殊菩薩斬魔所濺血，佩之可避兵禍」Dunhuang "Blood Sutra" Legend (Tang Dynasty)
《Dunhuang Manuscript S.6836》 (9th Century CE)：
"Khotanese monks carved mantras on red agate, calling it Blood Bodhisattva Stone. They believed the color came from Manjushri's demon-slaying blood, wearing it prevented war disasters."
